Adding Value with Guest Bloggers

Today’s guest blogger, Ed Roach, tells us about his experiences in using guest bloggers to add value to his sites:

Guest Bloggers – (Relevant) Value

I have been a guest blogger and have accepted guest bloggers. From my experience they add value to your blog in the fact that it shows a confidence you have. Allowing other opinions broadens your brand and draws in new readers. Typically a guest blogger alerts his readership to the fact that they have contributed to your blog. This increased exposure increases your audience.

I pay special attention to the relevance of the guest post. I do gets requests from some of the oddest topics. These requests show that the contributor has no idea what my topic really is, but is merely a ploy to raid my audience. So long as my audience are treated with respect, I’m open to many requests.
